![]() ![]() Users must ride the slide feet first on their backs.First time users - please ask a lifeguard for instructions.No refunds are issued for pool closures due to defecation, vomit, weather or other unforeseen situations.Swimmers engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior will be asked to leave the facility.No running or rough play allowed in the pool or locker room areas.Children 8 years of age and under must be supervised by an adult in the pool area.Spitting, spouting water, or blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited.Be aware that open cuts, blisters, or wounds may become infected. Do not use the pool if you have an infectious or communicable disease.All persons entering the pool are required to take a cleansing shower before entering the pool and after using the restroom.Parents are required to be in the water with all children under 42 inches tall.No street shoes, food or beverages in the pool area.Aqua socks and sandals are permitted in the pool but must not be worn down the waterslide.Kick boards, pull buoys, barbells, fins, and other equipment are for lap swim, fitness swimming, and structured programs only.Glass masks are not allowed in any of the pools.No climbing or hanging on spray activities.Swim diapers are required for all non-trained swimmers and are available to purchase at the lower level customer service desk.The pool supervisor on duty will make any discretionary decisions on which toys will be allowed. Footballs, baseballs, tennis balls, hockey pucks and other hard objects are not allowed.Small toys, diving rings and beach balls are allowed, if used in a safe manner and do not endanger other swimmers.No other flotation devices are allowed, including water wings, noodles, kick boards, tubes and air mattresses, unless approved by the supervisor on duty in the case of a therapeutic, instructional or exercise program or a special need. Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed if there is an adult in the water within arms reach. Parents/guardians of students in swimming lessons may observe from the indoor pool deck (during their child's class time only) without a wristband.During the outdoor pool season, all swimmers and spectators must have a wristband to be in the pool area.Parks and Recreation program participants do not need a wristband unless attending open swim in addition to their class. Swimmers are required to wear the appropriate wristband in the pool.
